Nakara Villas & Glamping: Stay Somewhere Different

BOOK NOW →We started building Nakara Villas & Glamping in 2009, initially just for ourselves. Over time we decided we wanted to share the beauty of Isan and our own experience of it, so we converted the villa into holiday villas and later added a glamping zone.
In 2023 we opened a small garden café with a seating area, where we served coffees, teas, drinks and cocktails. Coffee turned out to be a huge part of what people came for, so it made sense to build our own brand around it.
We wanted to give people a genuine taste of Udon Thani by working with local Udon Thani Robusta farmers, and something they could take home or give to friends and family.
We served our first cup of Nakara Coffee in September 2026: a cup of Isan Sunrise.
We also chose to tie our coffees to legends and stories from Isan and Thailand more broadly. Isan has a rich oral storytelling culture that many visitors miss when they come here, and we wanted our coffee to help carry a little of that culture with it.
